Whether it\u2019s a classic CS 1.6 bombsite drenched in nostalgia, a Half-Life Deathmatch arena designed by someone with a vendetta against gravity, or frankly any map that catches my eye, <strong data-start=\"541\" data-end=\"572\">nothing is off-limits here.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"574\" data-end=\"968\"><span style=\"font-family: Comic Sans MS, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">I don\u2019t bother with bloated scoring systems or \u201cindustry-standard metrics.\u201d I hand out <strong data-start=\"661\" data-end=\"676\">Gold Stars.<\/strong> Five of them, if you\u2019re lucky. No algorithms, no committee votes\u2014just my honest take on how well a map delivers in visuals, gameplay flow, creativity, and, most importantly, whether it\u2019s actually <em data-start=\"873\" data-end=\"878\">fun<\/em> to play. Because if we\u2019re not here to have fun, we might as well be filling spreadsheets.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"970\" data-end=\"1308\"><span style=\"font-family: Comic Sans MS, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">Most of these reviews are written by yours truly\u2014<strong data-start=\"1019\" data-end=\"1036\">Slade Krowley<\/strong>. Occasionally, a guest opinion might sneak in, but don\u2019t mistake it for democracy. This page is my personal lens on these digital battlegrounds, from their brightest moments to their ugliest flaws.
