The strange thing about old games is that they don’t really die. They just lose funding, or attention, or whatever it is the world is supposed to run on these days. Counter-Strike 1.6 has been declared “over” more times than anyone can count, and yet every night there are still people trading rounds, cracking jokes, and arguing about who should’ve checked long.

The GSU Clan has been holding the line on that front — keeping a small corner of the internet stable, playable, and free from the rot that usually consumes aging communities. It costs money to do that. Not a fortune, but enough that you notice it when nobody else does.
