Founder of Gamers Stand United (GSU), Slade has been an active supporter of the CS 1.6 community for over a decade. Since starting the clan in 2013, he’s aimed to create a place where players can compete, improve, and feel part of something larger — maybe even a sort of friendly digital cult… you know, the kind where everyone just frag together and argues about maps instead of world domination. Okay maybe just a tiny bit of word domination? CS domination? A organization of like-minded people
Yeah that's exactly what he wanted
Before GSU, he was involved with several other CS clans, including KSC, sR, AO, and PTG. Over the years, he’s hosted servers for Day of Defeat, Team Fortress Classic, Left 4 Dead 2, Garry’s Mod, CS: Source, and Deathmatch Classic. Beyond running servers, Slade is a competitive Counter-Strike enthusiast and a mapper, creating content for CS 1.6, Doom, Doom 2, Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun, and Red Alert 2. His work reflects both technical skill and a dedication to making games enjoyable for the communities around them.
My name’s Boker, a good old boy from the South. I’ve been playing Counter-Strike since the game was in beta, and I joined GSU well over a decade ago.
If you meet me in CS, beware — I’ll burst-fire a Glock right in your face! I’ve been part of GSU for a long time and have played CS for over 20 years. Looking forward to more games — GLHF!
Niko joined -GSU- in 2016 and has been playing Counter-Strike since 2001. In the mid-to-late 2000s, he was an experienced COD player, later adapting his skills and style to the Battlefield series. Beyond gaming, nIKO is a Boston-based web developer and an aspiring cinematographer, actively shooting short films and music videos in his spare time.
Skam has been playing Counter-Strike since 1999, back when it was still in beta. He founded the clan KrewHL and competed in several leagues, including CAL (O, IM, and Main divisions), as well as participating in a CPL tournament — some of the early competitive milestones that shaped the CS scene.
He’s especially passionate about CS 1.6, enjoying both pugs and scrims, where strategy, teamwork, and quick reflexes all come into play. Off the server, Skam loves a good beer and hanging out with friends — particularly his clan buddies in GSU, sharing laughs, stories, and the occasional frag.
Hi, my name’s Hit — that’s what I go by on Steam. I’ve been playing Counter-Strike since I got a laptop my junior year of high school. I started out just playing for fun, but now I enjoy both competitive and casual matches.
I like playing with friends on Steam, so feel free to add me — I usually don’t add people unless you’re really cool. If I had a million dollars, I’d design a Counter-Strike game with modern graphics, because let’s face it, I’m still stuck in the 90s.
Some other things about me: my favorite color is yellow, I have a dog, and I enjoy games like Warcraft 3, Starcraft 2, and CS:GO. In Counter-Strike, I favor the silenced M4, and in competitive play, I often pick up the AWP.
i have been playing CS from last 18 years ... on and off back at it again and really enjoying it from Toronto Canada I have mad respect and loyalty got Gamers Stand United clan never been part of a clan for so long love it!
My name is Michael, I started playing Counter-Strike throughout my Highschool days. Wished I had enough experience to play in CAL Leagues or even in Local Tournanments.
I bounced from clan to clan , server to server trying to find decent PUGs until I was invited to play with the fellow GSU Members. I love the competitiveness, the passion
they have for this game. They really do follow the GSU Motto, “Brotherhood,Unity, & Fragging.
